Design RSVP

Designing RSVPs has never been easier than in Gatsby! Imagine being able to create an event and import all your guests straight from your contact list? There are no external software programs here, Gatsby has a built-in RSVP composer that allows you to create the most beautiful invites and get any information you need from your guests with built-in surveys.

  • Step One

While in Events Dashboard, navigate to an event.

Click on the RSVP tab under the title. A window similar to one below will open, where users can start creating.

There are three types of RSVP’s users can create. See here for more information.

  • Step Two

In the center of the window, users can add a Cover Image to the RSVP. Simply click on the Add Cover Image button, as shown below. Upload a cover image or choose a one from Unsplash.

  • Step Three

    Let’s go over some details.

To add a logo, click Add Logo. Users can drag & drop or upload from files. Users can also use a company logo, which will have been put in through My Team/settings.

The Title will be shown based on the event name. Users can have this title disappear by clicking the eye that appears when you hover over the title. The title can also be amended here.

The date and address are picking up from the original details in the invite. Users can amend the format by clicking in the space. Note that this will not amend your details if you change a date or time.

The next area is exactly the same functionality as the composer, which you can format to make a nice invitation.

The next section is to add questions to your event. Use the drop-down to make questions for guests who will attend and those who won’t. To add a new question, click +Add a Question.

  • Step Four

On the right hand side of the RSVP page, users will find a list of functions.

Perhaps you want to Preview what your guests will see? Or allow guests to invite additional guests (+1’s).

By enabling the ‘Allow guest to RSVP later’ it allows guest to revisit the link at a later time to respond.

Try enabling the ‘Allow RSVP options for public links?’ which allows guests to reply yes or no instead of a register button.
