Newsletters
Build newsletter subscription lists and manage opt-ins for ongoing communications. Perfect for membership organizations and investor relations.
Newsletters help you maintain ongoing relationships with your network through regular updates and communications. Unlike events with specific dates, newsletter lists are permanent groups you can message anytime.
Creating Your Newsletter List
Section titled “Creating Your Newsletter List”A newsletter list is your subscriber base. You can import existing contacts or let people subscribe through your events.

Start Your List
Go to the Lists tab and click “Create List.”

Name Your List
Choose a clear name like “Monthly Updates” or “Investor Newsletter.”

Add Your Initial Contacts
Import contacts or add them manually to build your subscriber base.

Customize Your List View
Add relevant columns and organize contacts with tabs and sections that make sense for your workflow.
Sending Your Newsletter
Section titled “Sending Your Newsletter”Once your list is ready, you can send newsletters through Gatsby’s campaign system.

Create Your Campaign
Navigate to the Campaigns tab and create a new campaign or load a template.

Choose Your Recipients
Add recipients from your newsletter list.

Send or Schedule
Send immediately or schedule your newsletter for the optimal time.
Allow Guests to Subscribe to Newsletters
Section titled “Allow Guests to Subscribe to Newsletters”Let people opt into your newsletter through event RSVPs using survey questions. This builds your list naturally as people engage with your events.

Open Any Event’s RSVP Page
Navigate to the RSVP page for an event you’re planning.

Add a Survey Question
Find the survey questions section. For basic RSVP cards, this appears at the bottom. For premium RSVP pages, look for “Surveys” in the left sidebar.

Create the Subscription Question
Click “Add Survey Question,” go to the “New” tab, and select “List Subscription.”

Write Your Question
Ask something like “Would you like to subscribe to our newsletter?” Use language that fits your audience.

Connect to Your List
Select the newsletter list you created earlier.
Can I allow recipients to unsubscribe?
Yes. Include the unsubscribe link through the mail merge menu (the + button at the bottom left while drafting your campaign). Anyone who clicks it will be removed from future newsletter communications.
Can I have multiple newsletter lists?
Yes. Create separate lists for different audiences or topics. You can also ask multiple newsletter subscription questions on the same RSVP form to let people choose which newsletters they want.
