Login & Security Options
Access Gatsby with multiple secure login methods. Choose from Google, Okta SSO, magic links, or passwords for your team and collaborators. Setup two-factor authentication.
Login Methods
Section titled “Login Methods”Gatsby gives you flexible options for accessing your account. Choose the method that works best for your team’s workflow and security requirements.

Access Login Page
Go to gatsby.events/login

Enter Credentials
Type your email and password, then click Login

Start Google Login
Go to gatsby.events/login and select “Login with Gmail”

Choose Account
Select your Google account from the list

Set Email Permissions
To let Gatsby send emails on your behalf, approve “Send Emails on Your Behalf” and “Read, compose, and send emails from your Gmail account”

Request Magic Link
Go to gatsby.events/login, click “Login with Magic Link”, and enter your email

Check Your Email
Find the email from Gatsby and click the login link
Your organization needs Okta configured first. See the Okta SSO setup guide.

Start Okta Login
Go to gatsby.events/login and select “Login with Okta”

Enter Email
Type your email address to be redirected to your company’s Okta page

Complete Okta Login
Sign in to Okta and select Gatsby from your available apps
Two Factor Authentication
Section titled “Two Factor Authentication”Add an extra layer of security to your Gatsby account with 2FA. You’ll need a username and password login (Google and Okta handle their own 2FA).
Setting Up 2FA
Section titled “Setting Up 2FA”-
Open Account Settings
Click your initials in the top right corner and select Settings

Configure 2FA
Click “Configure 2FA” and scan the QR code with your authenticator app

Verify Setup
Enter the code from your authenticator app to complete setup
Requiring 2FA for Your Organization

Access Team Settings
Navigate to your team settings page

Enable 2FA Requirement
Toggle “Require Two Factor Authentication” to on
SOC2 Type II Certification
Section titled “SOC2 Type II Certification”Gatsby is SOC2 Type II certified, which means we’ve passed an independent audit of our security controls and processes. This certification provides assurance that we maintain strong security and privacy practices to protect your data.
About SOC2
Section titled “About SOC2”SOC2 (Service Organization Control 2) is an auditing framework that evaluates how service providers handle sensitive customer data. The certification covers five key areas that directly impact your event management:
Security
Your data is protected against unauthorized access through firewalls, encryption, and strict access controls.
Availability
Our systems maintain reliable uptime with redundant infrastructure and disaster recovery planning to keep your events running smoothly.
Processing Integrity
Guest information, RSVPs, and event data are processed accurately without corruption or errors.
Confidentiality
Sensitive information like guest lists and private event details remain protected from unauthorized disclosure.
Privacy
Personal information is collected, used, and stored in compliance with privacy laws and our stated policies.
How Auditing Works
Section titled “How Auditing Works”An independent third-party auditor evaluates our security controls and processes annually. They verify that we maintain the required safeguards and follow established procedures for protecting customer data. This ongoing assessment ensures we meet the standards your organization expects.
Request SOC2 Report
Section titled “Request SOC2 Report”If your organization requires a copy of our SOC2 report for compliance or security reviews, contact us directly through Slack or email.
Common Questions
Section titled “Common Questions”Is 2FA required? No, but you or your admin can choose to require it for your organization.
Do you support Single Sign On? Yes, you can sign in through Google or Okta.
What if I forget my password? Click “Forgot Password?” on the login page and enter your email. We’ll send you a reset link.
How do I set up Okta? Follow the instructions in our Okta SSO guide.
What’s the difference between team members and external collaborators? Team members have full access to Gatsby, while external collaborators can only access the specific events they’re invited to.
Is Gatsby SOC2 certified? Yes. Contact us directly for a copy of our SOC2 report if your organization requires it.
