Creating and Managing Events
Events are the core of what Gatsby does. Think of each event as a project that houses your guest list, RSVP page, campaign history, and all the tools you need to run a successful gathering.
Creating an Event
Section titled “Creating an Event”You only need a name to get started. You can adjust everything else later.

Start from your dashboard
Go to your Events & Lists dashboard and click “Create Event.”

Add basic details
Enter your event name and any other information you have ready.

Add collaborators
Invite team members who will help manage the event.

Create your event
Click “Create” to build your event.
Updating Event Details
Section titled “Updating Event Details”To update event details, hover over the date and time at the top of your screen. Click to open the edit window where you can modify any information.
Duplicating Events
Section titled “Duplicating Events”Duplicate events when you run similar gatherings regularly, need post-event surveys, or want to create multi-day event sessions.

Find your event
From your events dashboard, click the menu (three dots) on the event you want to duplicate.

Select duplicate
Choose “Duplicate Event” from the dropdown menu.

Edit the details
Update the event name, date, and any other information for your new event.

Choose what to copy
Select which elements you want to transfer:
- Guests and plus ones
- RSVP questions
- Invitation settings
- Guest list configuration
- Files and tasks
- Seating charts

Create the duplicate
Click “Duplicate” to create your new event with the selected elements.
Common Questions
Section titled “Common Questions”Can I create multi-day events?
Yes. Edit your event details and set an end date. For events that span multiple days with different sessions, create one primary event for initial invitations and registration, then duplicate it for individual sessions. Use the “All Events” registration question on your primary event’s survey to have guests RSVP for multiple events at once.
When should I duplicate an event?
Duplicate events for post-event surveys, recurring meetings like AGMs, multi-day conferences with separate sessions, or any time you want to reuse your guest list and settings for a similar gathering.
