Adding to the Guest List

Your guest list is the foundation of every successful event. Gatsby gives you several ways to build it. Import from CSV, add from other Lists, or select individual VIPs for AGMs and executive dinners.

Use this method when you have a guest list in a spreadsheet or when importing contacts from another system.

  1. Access Upload Option

    Click the dropdown arrow next to “Add Guests” and select “Upload CSV.”

  2. Choose Your File

    Upload your CSV file. You need at minimum a name and email address for each contact. A sample file is available for download if you need formatting guidance.

  3. Map Your Fields

    Match your CSV columns to Gatsby fields or create new custom fields for information specific to your event.

  4. Resolve Duplicates

    Review any duplicate contacts and choose how to handle them.

Perfect for handpicking specific contacts or adding last-minute attendees.

  1. Start Adding

    Click the “Add Guest” button in your event.

  2. Search and Select

    Type to search for contacts and select the ones you want to invite.

  3. Add in Bulk

    Use the sub-headers (Events, Lists, Tags) to select multiple contacts at once from organized lists.

Save time by pulling guest lists from similar past events or your organized contact lists.

  1. Select Contacts

    Check the boxes next to the contacts you want to add. Click the top checkbox to select all contacts at once.

  2. Add to Event

    Once you’ve selected your contacts, choose “Add to Event” from the green menu at the top.

  3. Choose Destination

    Select which event should receive these contacts, and they’ll appear on that guest list.

How do I add plus ones? Enable plus ones using the RSVP tool in your event.

How do I remove a guest? Select the checkbox next to their name and choose “Remove Guest” from the green menu at the top of the page.
